These SMS Terms & Conditions (“SMS Terms”) govern the text-messaging program operated by The Home Care Agency (“The Home Care Agency,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). They supplement, and are part of, our Terms & Conditions. By providing your mobile phone number and opting in, you agree to these SMS Terms.
1. Program Description
The Home Care Agency is a free enrollment matching and referral service that helps families check potential program eligibility and connect with independent, licensed home care agencies. When you submit a form on our Site and provide your mobile number, you may receive text messages from The Home Care Agency about your care request. Typical messages include a note letting you know we will reach out to you shortly, follow-up messages if we are unable to reach you by phone, and messages that help us schedule or complete your request. The licensed home care agency we match you with may contact you by phone, but does not send you text messages under this program.
2. Consent & Opt-In
You opt in to the messaging program by submitting a form on our Site with your mobile number and actively checking the consent box (the box is never pre-checked). Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase or service. Message and data rates may apply. You must be at least 18 years old and the subscriber or authorized user of the mobile number you provide.
3. Message Frequency
Message frequency varies. You will receive up to 4 messages per month.

Message and data rates may apply. These charges are set by your mobile carrier and are your responsibility. Check your mobile plan for details.
5. How to Get Help or Cancel (HELP & STOP)
For help at any time, reply HELP to any of our text messages, or contact us using the details below.
To stop receiving text messages, reply STOP to any of our text messages at any time. After you send STOP, we will send one confirmation message and then stop sending you text messages. You may also opt out by contacting us using the details below. Opting out of text messages does not remove you from phone calls or email — to stop those, ask to be removed during any phone call or contact us directly.
6. Carriers & Delivery
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery is subject to the effective transmission from your mobile carrier and is not guaranteed. Supported carriers may change without notice.
7. Privacy
We do not sell or share mobile opt-in or SMS consent information with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. When you ask us to match you with a licensed home care agency, we share your contact information with that matched agency so it can reach you — this is done to fulfill the service you requested, not for third-party marketing. 8. Changes to These SMS Terms
We may update these SMS Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Your continued participation in the messaging program after a change takes effect means you accept the updated SMS Terms.
